CHICAGO – Wednesday, March 20th, will begin Season 18 of Chicago’s Asian Pop-Up Cinema (APUC), a film festival that has grown and evolved to become a prime cultural influencer. Season 18 screenings will pop up in Chicago, north suburban Evanston and the Alliance Francaise de Chicago. The festival will feature films by region: Canada (March 20); Taiwan (March 23-24); South Korea (March 30-April 3); Japan (April 4-6); India (April 10); and Hong Kong (April 15-21), as well an additional APUC Season 18 “Virtual Festival” (click link, March 23-April 15).
