Disturbed at the Milwaukee SummerFest, June 30, 2022.

MILWAUKEE – Last weekend was the heart of the 2022 Milwaukee SummerFest weekend and kicking its ass on June 30th were the band Disturbed. The Chicago rock juggernaut recently accomplished the rare feat of five consecutive number one debuts on the Billboard Charts. The legendary Slash at the Riviera Theatre. Chicago.

CHICAGO – The concert season has begun full throttle again and what better man to put that accelerator down than Slash, former lead guitarist of Guns N’ Roses and now on worldwide tour with band collaborators Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators. The band features lead singer Kennedy, Slash, bassist Todd Kerns, drummer Brent Fitz and rhythm guitarist Frank Sidoris. They appeared in Chicago at the Riviera Theatre (The Riv) on March 2nd, 2022, and Music Photographer Jeff “Doc” Doles got the Exclusive Photos.

CHICAGO – At the red-carpet premiere of “Black as Night” on Sept. 21, 2021 at Chicago’s Music Box Theatre, HollywoodChicago.com interviews director Maritte Lee Go (who admits she’s a Jason Blum fangirl) and writer Sherman Payne (who discusses “cultural specificity,” describes this as a “black vampire movie” that pre-dated Jordan Peele and says vampires are a metaphor for humanity).

CHICAGO – One of the top music festivals in the country comes back to Chicago as the 2021 Riot Fest opens Thursday, Sept. 16 and continues through Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021. HAMMOND, Ind. – It’s time. Time to get out and rock with a crowd of fellow blazers. Photographer Jeff “Doc” Doles of HollywoodChicago.com went across the border to the Festival of the Lakes in Hammond, Indiana, and exclusively captured Fred Durst and Limp Bizkit in all of their mind crunching glory.

LAS VEGAS – Endo, the up-and-coming powerhouse band from Sin City, recently announced their debut album, “Anhedonia,” which will release on Friday, May 14th, 2021.
