CHICAGO – It’s Oscar Week, as the 95th Academy Awards will be broadcast on Sunday, March 12th, 2023, on ABC-TV. Nominated for Best Supporting Actress is Angela Bassett for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” her second nomination after “What’s Love Got to Do with It?” in 1994.

CHICAGO – Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors are two of the hottest featured players in film right now and teamed up over the weekend in “Creed III,” the continuation of the Adonis Creed (Jordan) story, son of Apollo Creed from the Rocky Balboa Universe. Majors portrays Damian, the latest challenger to Creed’s reign.

CHICAGO – The highly anticipated “Creed III,” opening March 3rd, continues the “Rocky Universe” story of Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan, also director), son of Rocky Balboa nemesis Apollo Creed. In this latest chapter Adonis is challenged by a childhood friend named Damian (Jonathan Majors), freed from prison with a score to settle.

CHICAGO – Ant-Man gets supersized in this agreeable Marvel Studios movie, which pits our tiny hero against his most formidable foe yet. While the first two Ant-Man movies were largely comic detours where the bug sized superhero carved a small but charming place in the larger universe, the third Ant-Man and the Wasp film puts him squarely at the center of the next phase of Marvel moviemaking.
