“Girl on the Third Floor” is the story of Don and Liz, a couple from Chicago (Brooks and Trieste Kelly Dunn) who are expecting a baby and are looking for a new start in a “fixer upper” in the suburbs. Don is handling most of the renovation himself, but gets a hand from Milo (Travis Delgado). The new owner is also being harassed by a local woman named Sarah (Sarah Brooks) who has a seductive agenda and won’t leave him alone. The house itself has a reputation of its own, and it challenges Don on as many levels as it has floors.

This is Phil “C.M. Punk” Brooks first major acting role, and as he expresses in the Podtalk below it was a top drawer experience. Of course, he knows about being top drawer in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), as he held the Championship title for the longest time in the decade of 2010s (434 days). He retired from pro wrestling in 2014, and recently did a few bouts for the mixed martial arts Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), in the midst of making his film acting debut.

Sarah Brooks, who portrays her namesake Sarah in the film, is also a recurring character on “Chicago Med,” and Travis Delgado makes his major feature film debut as Milo, a twist on the “best friend.”
